Translating Revolution
The National Museum of Mexican Art has a show opening tonight detailing the influence of the Mexican mural movement on American artists over the years. This exhibition will feature work by a wide range of artists including painter Jackson Pollock, muralist José Clemente Orozco, Milton Rogovin, Ben Shahn, photographer Tina Modotti, sculptor Isamu Noguchi, photographer Edward Weston, Elizabeth Catlett, and more.
