By coincidence there'll be another art fundraiser in Evanston for the people of Haiti. I went to the one last night and it was pretty successful and well attended. The one tonight will definitely have a lot of great work available as well. Info from the organizers...
Enigma Cafe will be hosting a fund raiser to help the people of Haiti. It will be an all day family event with story telling, live art, and music. There will also be a large installation of paintings from Chicago artists. The artists featured are: Rex Flodstrom, Scott Richardson, Christine Mendosa, Esteban Alcozer, Dense83, Paul Khun, Joe Mills, Mike Paro, Janie Gorges, Madeline Goldman-Rohm, PHICKS, Angel Pelipada, Olegario Flores, Erin Rembert, Peter Wiess, Eric Iverson, and more!
A portion of the proceeds raised will go to Doctors Without Borders. Also we will be having a doctor that has been to Haiti talk about their experience. This event will end at 11 pm. Hope to see you there!
