Steve Powers, aka ESPO, collaborated with Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program late last year to produce A Love Letter for You, a series of 50 rooftop murals along Market St between 45th st to 63rd st in West Philly. Designed to be seen from the Market-Frankford elevated SEPTA train, the murals highlight the phrases and wordplay that ESPO has become known for. As an ode to his birth city and to growing up in Philadelphia in the 70's and 80's the series looks to be a great success.
In conjunction with A Love Letter for You, ESPO conceived a series of tattoo flash that was available for February.Also, Free News Projects has just published a catalog of all the murals in the series which is available through their site.
