Chicago painter and muralist extraordinaire Jeff Zimmerman will open his studio tonight for a showing of recent work titled, Check the Pulse. He'll also be raffling off a painting to raise money for upcoming mural projects. If you haven't seen his paintings in person before this would be a great opportunity. He's got several massive photorealistic murals up in different parts of the city, including the ones facing each other at the corner of Ashland and 19th. St. in the Pilsen neighborhood.
