Composition 2: Recent work by Tom Burtonwood

In conjunction with the publication of his new catalog of recent work, Color Studies 2010-2011, Tom Burtonwood will have a show opening tonight, Thursday at Columbia College Chicago's Book and Paper Center.  Working with interlocking structures and a complementary palette of colors, Tom explores these engaging shapes with both wood constructions and paint on paper.

Tonight's opening reception will coincide with the opening of the World as Text show that I wrote about here.
